The BIG slide!!!

She's so much fun!!! Last night was the last swimming lesson for sweet pea... hubby was late, so by the time we were there the group had already gone over to the small slide. It's about a 6-8 feet long, straight tube - nothing too exciting but sweet pea LOVES it. She can't get up the ladder by herself, so it's always a two person job. One is in the water catching her and the other is out of the water carrying her up the ladder and depositing her in the slide.

Last night, the class got to go down the BIG slide. It's a 300 foot water slide with twists and turns and everything! She went with hubby and wasn't quite sure what to think. The first time he FLEW down the slide on this back holding sweet pea under her arms facing backwards. When he hit the water at the bottom he went straight under and the lifeguard had to help him with sweet pea. The second time (I actually talked him into another try!) he sat down and held her in his lap... much better. How fun - I wish I had a camera!

Yes, she graduated from water tots 1. She'll probably be in water tots 1 again next year if we take swimming lessons through the community center... so I guess she really didn't 'graduate' yet.
